Ayam Company is an Iraqi Company organized in 2003, has implemented many important strategic projects inside Iraq. Much of Ayam's work has been in the power generation sector with the ministry of electricity (MOE) and other well-known clients, such as the Program Contracting Office (PCO), Washington International Inc. (WII), Bechtel, Ode Brecht, ABB, and Siemens.
Ayam is a general contractor specializing in electro-mechanical construction employing some of the best talent in Iraq with direct knowledge and experience building, maintaining and operating power plants, and experienced in constructing and commissioning substations, water and waste water plants and communication system.
Ayam has been involved in the construction and/or rehabilitation of many power plants, 23 substations of 400/132/33/11 kV size, Transmission lines, and Underground and Overhead feeder lines.
Ayam also performs many civil construction works in addition to the specialized and highly technical electrical work. Nearly all power generation, electrical, and water project work involves some civil constructions and Ayam can and does perform this civil work.
In addition, Ayam has performed many civil construction works independent of the electrical work as shown in the Company Profile, such as roads, buildings, concrete foundations, walls and fence Ayam has the experience and the ability to work in all regions of Iraq, from the North to the South and the middle in Baghdad.
Ayam is a nationwide company having completed or have on-going projects throughout the country and have recently opened some new offices, establishing a presence in 8 governorates and in every major business center in Iraq.

    Ayam has over 400 full time permanent employees as management staff and has access to I has hired many other professional staff and workers hired based on project needs.
    Ayam has the capacity and capability to increase the size of the manpower to reach 2000 or more persons per day depending on project needs and site activities. Ayam has good relations with SOE's and the Province governments who make referrals of qualified personnel.
    Ayam  owns and  maintains many specialized pieces  of equipment, such as equipment for oil filtration of transformers, welding machines, substation commissioning equipment, testing equipment, surveying equipment, special hydraulic jacks, alignment tools, high capacity chain blocks, diesel generators, DC welding machines, and  more smaller items. Ayam also, owns 12 pickups, 6 buses and two 20 ton cranes, among other large pieces of equipment.
    Ayam has joint ventured with Al Maslawi, one of the largest logistics and rental crane companies in Iraq, to provide on a short notice large cranes.
    They own many 20, 30, 50 and 80 tons cranes, low-boy loaders, and tractor trailers for large hauling. In addition, Ayam has contractual relationships with equipment suppliers and equipment rental companies to increase the ability to rent or lease any extra and necessary equipment to complete any size project.
    Ayam owns 16 caravans, sized 14 x 20 ft and 6 x 40 ft containers, all of which are in good condition and suitable for constructing remote camps for projects.
    With Ayam’s knowledge and experience in power plants and large projects, we can develop a highly effective Rapid Response Team for dealing with emergencies and urgent matters involving Electrical system outages, and oil pipeline repairs and cleanup Although this Team is not in place, Ayam can provide such a team with all means to attend to these types of matters in a short time and with the resources to assess the situation, procure and execute the necessary repairs to get the damaged or disable equipment back on line.
    Ayam has the capacity and will support the Team to quickly and efficiently construct suitable and adequate work camps wherever there is a need for emergency action.
